Cubs loved them all and of course the Trebuchet.” Did we tell you the trebuchet is a fire ball night fireing. No, well guess what it is... Hi
Do parents need to accompany their child & what are the travel arrangements please?
nope they do not and see below for more on travel with more to follow by email next week
Hello, this is not a parent and child camp so there are currently no places for any parents.
That's good news if you are hoping for a nice quiet night in or out. Not so good news if you were hoping to attend and join us.
The cost of the camp includes travel. We are still awaiting the absolute final numbers but the plans include a mini bus or two. We are looking to send final details out to all those that are attending during the course of next week.
We expect the drop off location for departure to be one of the side car parks where we do our scouting and we will then be able to load the trailer with personal kit and pile onto the mini bus. This would be at about 15:00 (3pm) on the Saturday afternoon. I think we are aiming for between 17:00 and 19:00 for our arrival back on the Sunday.
Cheers
Neil

Is this for all groups including Beavers?
Invites have gone out to all cubs and all scouts, I am afraid this one is limited to cubs and scouts, we will however be having some overnighters for Beavers soon.
Can we have a kit list for this trip?
Thanks muchly
We keep the kit list permanently on the website for all main camps. However this camp does not need as much as usual and Helen has done a letter to be sent out tonight after cubs, it includes permission to camp form and kit list, if you plan on the full kit list you wont be too far wrong. It will be sent to all attending. We had to wait for some details to come to us so we could finalise some of the times.
